What is Cosmic Cash?#
Cosmic Cash is a space-themed pokie from Pragmatic Play. Five reels and four rows sit in front of a violet nebula, a grinning green alien gives a peace sign from the left of the screen, and the four jackpot plates glow in red, blue, green and purple above him. All 40 lines are always active, so the only setting you choose is the total bet.
The game has two engines. In the base game, the symbols pay along the lines and golden money moons carry cash values. Land enough moons and the reels turn into the Cosmic Respins grid, where UFOs wait beside each reel with prizes of their own. Scatters run a separate free spins round with extra stacked wilds.
Symbols and payouts#
Wins pay left to right on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost one. The wild saucer stands in for every symbol except the scatter and the money moon, and pays 12.5x your bet for five in a row. Every payout is a multiple of your total bet:
| Symbol | 5 in a row | 4 in a row | 3 in a row |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wild flying saucer | 12.5x | 5x | 1.25x |
| Green alien | 5x | 2.5x | 0.625x |
| Astronaut | 3.75x | 1.875x | 0.25x |
| Dog alien | 2.5x | 1.25x | 0.25x |
| Octopus alien | 2.5x | 1.25x | 0.25x |
| Rocket | 1.875x | 0.5x | 0.125x |
| Ray gun | 1.875x | 0.5x | 0.125x |
| A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 | 1.25x | 0.25x | 0.125x |
The scatter, a gold Cosmic Cash logo, pays anywhere on the reels: 2x your bet for three, 10x for four and 100x for five. The rules page lists every control and line rule.
Cosmic Respins#
Six or more money moons start the feature. The base reels are replaced by a grid that holds only moons and blanks, you get three respins, and every moon that lands resets the count to three. Moons slide to the end of their reel, and the UFO beside it opens an extra spot each time, up to two more per reel. Fill a reel completely and its UFO pays out: cash of 10x to 250x, 10 to 100 free spins, a 2x to 50x multiplier on the moons of that reel, or one of the four jackpots. The respins guide walks through a full round.
Four jackpots#
Each jackpot is a fixed multiple of your bet, so it scales with the stake you choose.
| Jackpot | Pays | At NZ$0.40 | At NZ$1 | At NZ$2 | At NZ$5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mini | 20x | NZ$8 | NZ$20 | NZ$40 | NZ$100 |
| Minor | 50x | NZ$20 | NZ$50 | NZ$100 | NZ$250 |
| Major | 250x | NZ$100 | NZ$250 | NZ$500 | NZ$1,250 |
| Grand | 2,500x | NZ$1,000 | NZ$2,500 | NZ$5,000 | NZ$12,500 |
Free spins#
Three, four or five scatters award 10, 20 or 50 free spins. During the round the reels carry more stacked wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4, and landing three or more scatters again adds another 10, 20 or 50 spins.
RTP and max win#
The return to player is 96.56%, rising to 96.58% when you buy the respins for 100x your bet. A single round can pay up to 2,650x your bet. The RTP explainer shows how those numbers work and how to see which version a casino runs.
